From April 2017, the retail water market for non-household customers in England will be opened up as part of a government initiative to support the water sector and provide a better overall product for consumers. This follows in the wake of deregulation of the water market in Scotland in 2008.
Under the new legislation, all businesses, charities and public sector customers can switch both their water and wastewater provider, irrespective of annual consumption.
For some customers this could mean substantial savings on water and wastewater costs going forward.
If a customer switches supplier, they will continue to receive the same water but not all suppliers are able to provide the same level of customer service and technical support. Given we have over 25 years of experience in the industry, WaterWatch UK is best placed to understand your requirements, and identify the ideal supplier for your business, whilst also reducing your water bill.
Prepare, Consider, Switch and Save.
Being prepared is an important element in considering whether a switch of supplier would be appropriate for your business and part of that process is to ensure and have confidence that your data is accurate, your charges are correct and any outstanding issues have been identified and dealt with.
Therefore, before switching, why not take advantage of our no obligation audit to make sure you haven’t been overcharged for years from your current supplier?
The entire process is simple as we handle everything from start to finish, including tendering, negotiating with suppliers and liaising with you to ensure a smooth changeover to achieve substantial water bill savings.
